Portable Air Conditioner is an air conditioner that is mobile.
Unlike window (through-the-wall) or central air conditioning units, portable units do not require permanent installation. Commonly, these units have caster wheels for easy portability. They are relatively lightweight and are generally about 28″ to 34″ tall.
It is necessary to vent portable air conditioners because they extract hot air. In order for your air conditioning system to cool the room effectively, you need to let the hot air vent to the outside. Portable air conditioners can be vented through a window, wall, ceiling or even a door.
In most cases, your portable air conditioner will not need to be drained. Some portable air conditioners use a condensation exhaust system to expel water vapor collected during the dehumidifying/cooling process and will need draining of the internal water tank.
A portable AC should always be placed on a hard level floor at least 8-12" away from obstructions like furniture, flowers, etc. Ideally, a portable air conditioner should be placed near an outside window and near an electrical outlet.
Floor-mounted air conditioning units provide a unique advantage in that they can be installed in locations where no wall or ceiling space is available so are often installed in cafeterias, convenience stores, large reception rooms, hotel foyers and comms rooms or server rooms.Floor air conditioner is another type of air conditioner unit that is commonly used in places such as restaurants, halls, motels, data centers. The reason for its name is obvious in that it is basically standing on the floor. Other types of indoor units are the wall mounted, ducted, ceiling exposed, portable and window.
These fan coil units are all located indoor. The outdoor unit or condensers are located outside the building where the heat is rejected through the vapor compression cycle.
These two units are all that are required for the air conditioning system to function. They are connected to each other through the cooper tubes which are the gas and liquid lines.
This type of air conditioner creates a comfortable environment, without interfering with a room's aesthetics. Hidden in the ceiling, these hide away air-conditioners are perfect for buildings where there are many rooms or halls. Concealed Ducted units or 'Split' systems consist of an outdoor unit and an indoor unit installed in the ceiling space. Air is distributed from the indoor unit by duct to one or more air vents.
Ceiling concealed split type air conditioners or Fan Coil Units are high-grade air-conditioning systems in which the unit is completely built into the ceiling and cool air is delivered via a duct system which complements the interior decor in accordance with the shape of the room including whisper Quiet operation, Lightweight and Superior Freedom of Layout.
Available in a wide range of cooling capacities, concealed split air-conditioners are capable of adapting to a wide variety of space requirements, installation configurations and different usage applications. These beautifully designed units blend in seamlessly with any decor and also boast advantages such as quiet operation, high energy efficiency, space saving compactness and easy installation.
